 "After two days of debating against 24 1A teams, seniors  Patrick Garza and Sol Delafuente placed third in CX debate. Freshman  Mario Canales III and Juan Vera came up short by 1 win needed to advance  into day two. I'm so proud of these students' dedication and commitment. For the freshman, I can't wait to see what next year will bring, with more experience under their belt. Natalie Vera and Manuel Vidaurri were  alternates for State and got the opportunity to experience rounds with  the best debaters in the State of Texas. Again, thank you to the families  for the honor I have had coaching these brilliant students and for  supporting UIL academics."
